Amarien Amont Armendariez went to be with the Lord on January 28, 2025. Amarien was born on April 8, 2002 to Jerrilyn and Johnithan Armendariez in Midland, Texas. Amarien was a bright light in the lives of all who knew him, a man of faith, love, and boundless determination.
Amarien accepted Christ and was baptized at a young age at Mount Rose Baptist Church, where his faith became the foundation of his life. He carried this faith with him throughout every step of his journey.
A 2020 graduate of Midland Lee High School, Amarien was not only a talented student but also a dedicated athlete. As the starting quarterback for the Rebels, his leadership, resilience, and drive left a lasting impact on his teammates and coaches. Amarien continued his academic and athletic pursuits at Langston University, where he furthered his education and embraced new challenges with the same determination that defined his life.
Above all, Amarien's greatest joy was his family. He shared a deep love with his fiancée, Iyanna Mancha, and was a devoted father to his two children, Azaraelya Armendariez and Azarien Armendariez. He cherished every moment with them, finding his greatest purpose in being a loving partner and father.
Amarien's memory will forever live in the hearts of his family, friends, and community. His infectious smile, kind heart, and steadfast faith left a mark on everyone he encountered.
Amarien is now reunited in heaven with his sister A'mya Armendariez, great grandparents Raymond H. and Susan Garnette Hill, Larry D. Mitchell, Doris Mae Burney, Robert Lee Wesley, Walter Goosby, and Gertrude Edwards.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother Jerrilyn Armendariez, father Johnithan Armendariez, fiancé Iyanna Mancha, his children Azaraelya and Azarien Armendariez, his sisters Amari , Amani, and Breanna Armendariez, his maternal grandparents Warren and Orchid Hill, paternal grandparents Ruby Givens and John Goosby (Blanche) and great grandmother Ruby J.
