Glendora Pryor

Glendora Atchison Pryor, known to many as "Glen," went to be with our Heavenly Father on April 17, 2026, at the tender age of 63. She was born in Lamesa, Texas, on August 31, 1963, to the late Daisy Mae Atchison and Eddie Lee Atchison Sr.

In 1966, the family moved to Midland, Texas, where she spent the remainder of her life. Growing up, she enjoyed singing, dancing, and skating, eventually joining the United Spiritual Singers of New Jerusalem Baptist Church and a dance group called the Boogieletts, earning her the name "Spinning Genny."

She attended and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1982, following the birth of her first child to then-husband Autry Pryor Sr., going on to have two more beautiful children. As an adult, she worked at Rockwood Manor for well over 10 years as a lead cook.

Glendora is now reunited in heaven with her parents, Daisy Mae Atchison and Eddie Lee Atchison Sr.; her five brothers, Eddie Lee Atchison Jr., Larry Lee Atchison, Terry Lee Atchison, William Lee Atchison, and Jessie Lee Atchison; and her two sisters, Sonya Lynette Atchison and Joyce Ann Edwards.

Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Autry James Pryor Jr., Autreia Denise Pryor, and Antwuan Jerome Pryor; her two brothers, Willie Sullivan and J.L. Sullivan; and her sister, Rose Young. She also leaves seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and many other beloved relatives and friends.
