Jaime G. Salazar, 68, of Midland, Texas, rested peacefully on August 28, 2023. Jaime was born to Benedicto Salazar and Julieta Salazar on August 9, 1955 in Chihuahua, Mexico.
Jaime graduated from Socorro High School in El Paso, Texas. He worked for the City of Midland for over 20 years in their traffic division. Jaime was known by everyone as an extremely hard worker and provider for his family. He was a master craftsman who loved to work outdoors; designing, creating and building.
The center of Jaime's life was his family and he was a dedicated Jehovah's Witness. He was a mild-tempered and gentle man who was a great listener whenever anyone needed some advice. His family will truly miss his kind nature.
Jaime is preceded in death by his father, Benedicto Salazar.
Jaime is survived by his mother, Julieta Salazar; wife, Letty; brother, Martin Salazar (Thelma); sons, Jaime and Jonathan Salazar; daughters, Jovanna Salazar, Jackie Salcido (Luis); sisters, Myrna Luna (Joe), Gloria Salazar (Phil Caudill), 8 grandchildren, one great grandson, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.
A service will be held on Saturday, September 2nd (2 PM) at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Midland Texas, followed by a reception (3 PM) at 1705 West Industrial Avenue, Midland, TX 79701.
Services have been entrusted to the care of Mayberry Funeral Home in Midland, Texas.
