James "CeCe" Timothy Braziel

James "Cece" Timothy Braziel Jr. was born on June 6, 2008. He gained his wings on February 18, 2026. He was born in Midland, TX, to Tabatha and James Sr.

Cece was a loving son and brother. He was known for his warm heart, sense of humor, strong spirit, and a smile that lit up a room. Cece was baptized through the Church of Christ. He had a true gift for playing basketball. There was something about his presence that brought comfort to those around him. He will be remembered for how he showed up for the people he loved-not perfectly, but always with his whole heart. He attended Midland High School, where his personality thrived and his passion for basketball continued to grow. He worked at Whataburger, where you might have seen him wearing the unforgettable smile so many came to know and love.

He is survived by his mother, Tabatha Maston; Clarence Rhynes; and his father, James Braziel Sr. (Jeanette). Cece leaves behind two sisters, Anaria and Kamarie, and two brothers, Curtis and Semaj, as well as his maternal and paternal grandmothers, J'Nita and Evelyn, whom he loved dearly. He also leaves behind his uncles, Todrick, Jermaine, and Lee Jr.; and his aunts, La'trina, Shannon (Rere), Nichole (Abby), Lakia (Chamma), Lacrystal, Tonya, Wayne, Crystal, William, Stephanie, and Octavia; and girlfriend, Amunique. He is also survived by a host of cousins and numerous friends who cherished and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lee Arthur Maston, and his brother, Mackyrin Braziel.

He carried his family in his heart and loved them dearly. He will forever remain in our hearts and will be deeply missed.
