~
In Loving Memory of Jason
"Though his life was short, the love he gave will last forever."
Jason was a young, intelligent, funny, loving, and caring son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. Though his time with us was far too short, the memories he created and the love he shared will remain in our hearts forever.
Jason was a quiet soul who enjoyed his own company. He loved playing video games and spending time drawing his sketches. His favorite animal was the squirrel, and he often admired how squirrels, like him, enjoyed keeping to themselves. But when family was around, Jason was a different person. Their presence brought out his happiness, his energy, and his playful side.
One of the people Jason was closest to was his grandmother, Tivis. He loved spending time with her and was always looking out for her. When she planned to travel to South Carolina, Jason told her that he would go with her because he "wasn't going to let her go by herself." That simple statement showed just how much love he had for his grandmother and how protective and caring he could be. Of course, Grandma Tivis agreed.
Jason had dreams for his future. He wanted to become a mechanic, just like his dad, and dreamed of becoming the best there was. When he got his first job making pizzas, he was incredibly excited to earn his own money. He even asked his mom for his own bank account so he could buy things for himself and, more importantly, help his family whenever he could.
Jason had a dream truck in mind-a four-door Chevy that he wanted to build alongside his dad. He looked forward to the day when that dream would become a reality. It was more than just a truck; it represented the future he imagined for himself and the memories he hoped to make with his dad.
Jason loved his mother and father, his sister and brother, his grandparents, and his entire family. He was deeply loved in return. Anyone who knew Jason knew that beneath his quiet nature was a loving heart and a young man who cared deeply about the people closest to him.
His life may have been short, but it was meaningful. Jason left behind memories that will be cherished for a lifetime-the laughter, the conversations, the drawings, the video games, the family moments, and all the little things that made him who he was.
We wish we could have had more time with him. We wish we could have watched him grow, become the mechanic he dreamed of being, build that Chevy with his dad, and create the future he imagined. But although we cannot see what his future would have held, we can hold on to the beautiful memories of the young man he was.
Jason may be gone from our sight, but he will never be gone from our hearts. His life, his love, his dreams, and his memory will continue through the family and friends who loved him.
Rest peacefully, Jason.
You were loved more than words can say,
you are missed more than words can express,
and you will be remembered for the rest of our lives.
Forever loved.
Forever missed.
Forever in our hearts.
