Jesus Martin Vela

Jesus Martin Vela, age 32, passed away on September 6, 2025. Jesus was born December 31, 1992, in Midland, Texas. He was the proud son of Rosemary and Manuel Vela. Jesus was a beloved soul whose warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit touched everyone he met.

Jesus was known for his sweet and caring nature, always ready with a smile or a helping hand. Children especially gravitated toward him-his playful heart and gentle presence made him a favorite among the little ones in his life.

Jesus loved to dance, and his joy was infectious whenever music filled the room. He would light up the moment with his moves and laughter. Spending time with family was what he cherished most. His love for those closest to him was unwavering and deeply felt.

Jesus is now reunited in heaven with his brother Henry "Crickett" Vela; grandparents Maria and Heginio Herrera; grandmother Maria Castaneda; nephew Juan Herrera; and uncles Fred Vela, Valentin Vela.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved children Josiah Hernandez and Alaina Vela; and siblings Dora Bencomo, George Losoya, Cindy Vela, Manuel Vela, and Daniel Vela.

Jesus leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and compassion. Though he may be gone, his memory lives on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
