Juan Carlos Guerrero

November 17, 1980 — July 6, 2025

Juan Carlos Guerrero Hernandez went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 6, 2025, at the age of 44. A beloved father, son, brother, partner, and friend, Juan Carlos lived a life full of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to those around him. Juan Carlos was born on November 17, 1980 to Juan Javier Guerrero Lujan and Silvia Margarita Hernandez Guerrero in Chihuahua, Mexico.

Known for being the life of the party, Juan Carlos had a gift for making others laugh. Whether it was his infectious sense of humor, his crazy dance moves, or his fearless karaoke-even when singing wasn't his strong suit-he brought joy and light wherever he went. He was truly one of a kind.

Juan Carlos was a passionate family man. He loved deeply and gave selflessly. He was always there, supporting his kids , attending school concerts and events, even if it wasn't his thing-his presence never went unnoticed. He helped raise two children who weren't biologically his, stepping into the role of father without hesitation, with a heart full of love.

Soccer was a lifelong passion for Juan Carlos. Whether he was playing, coaching, or simply cheering from the sidelines, the sport was in his blood. He played in the Elite League and even represented the state of Chihuahua in his youth. He was proud to win his first championship at age 15, coached by his father and brother, who also shared his love of the game. He also played on his college team while pursuing a degree in Engineering.

After moving to Midland, Texas, with his younger brother to start a new chapter in life near their older brother, Juan Carlos continued to share his talents and passions. He was an engineer by trade-smart, dedicated, and always willing to teach and mentor others. He had a competitive spirit, whether on the field or while playing soccer on the PlayStation (where he was known to break a controller or two after a tough loss).

Juan Carlos loved cooking, especially grilling steaks and making his famous tortas. He had a soft spot for seafood and cherished meals shared with loved ones. Above all, he loved his family deeply-his parents, his siblings, and his children. His younger brother was his best friend, and he often looked up to his older brother with admiration.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Juan and Aurora Guerrero, and Manuel and Josefina Hernandez.

Left to cherish his memory are parents; Silvia Margarita Hernandez Guerrero and Javier Guerrero Lujan, his children; Natalie Guerrero, Raelyn Guerrero, Deyanira Giddens, and Roman Vasquez, brothers; Jose Manuel Guerrero and Javier Guerrero.

He lived and loved with his whole heart. His selfless spirit, loyalty, and sense of humor will be missed more than words can express.
