Ricki Perry

March 17, 1932 — January 4, 2026

Margaret Ann "Ricki" Perry, 93, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2026. She was the very embodiment of energy, joy, and a life fully lived.

Ricki was born on March 17, 1932, in McAlester, Oklahoma. The daughter of an Army Air Corps officer during World War II, she spent her childhood moving throughout North Dakota, New Jersey, and Missouri. Those early travels sparked a lifelong love of adventure and exploration that never left her.

She graduated from Norman High School in Norman, Oklahoma, and later earned her degree from the University of Oklahoma. After college, Ricki landed in Dallas, where she began her career as a flight attendant with American Airlines. It was there that she met the "boy next door" and the love of her life, Charles Wesley Perry. They were married in Dallas in 1955 and soon settled in Midland, Texas, where they raised their five children and built a life filled with family, friends, and community.

Ricki devoted countless hours to volunteering with numerous organizations in Midland; Junior League of Midland, Ladies Association of Midland Country Club, and as a devoted member of St. Ann's Catholic Church and The Altar Society. She was a Life Master bridge player and an exceptional tennis player, often found competing in tournaments for both. She was great at everything she did, especially being MOM! Her love for travel and bridge led her to teaching the game on cruise ships, allowing her to see the world with Charlie.

Ricki's greatest joy and proudest role was being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She brought enthusiasm, warmth, and laughter into every room she entered and was forever the life of the party.

Ricki was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Wesley Perry, Jr. and her parents, William and Mary Kathryn Rankin.

Left to carry on her legacy are her children; Wes Perry and wife, Roni; Wende Perry; Page Bezner, and husband Chris; Mae-dee Jones, and husband Sport; and Sam Perry, and wife Kalee. She is also survived by her sister, Hailey Dycus, as well as 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, all of whom were a source of immense pride and joy.

Ricki will be remembered for her boundless energy, her adventurous spirit, and her unwavering commitment to living life to the fullest.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Midland (911 W Texas Ave, Midland, Texas 79701) or the Allison Bridge Center (913 W Wadley Ave, Midland, Texas 79705).
