Nevatiny Don Berry

Nevatiny Don Berry, age 45, was born on April 11, 1980, in Midland, Texas, to Sharon Berry and Don L. Green. Nevatiny gained his wings on February 28, 2026.

Nevatiny graduated from Permian High School in Odessa, Texas. From an early age, he showed a strong interest in sports and fitness. During his time at Permian, he participated in track, basketball, and football, proudly representing his #2 jersey-one that he would later lovingly force down to his children. After high school, he continued his education at Odessa College, where he pursued courses to become a licensed fitness trainer. His passion for health and fitness was obvious to everyone who knew him, and he was always quick to share his favorite advice: "You better use it before you lose it!".

His love for sports continued throughout his life. He enjoyed watching all kinds of professional sports, whether cheering on his favorite team, the Lakers, or tuning in to events like professional swimming.

Nevatiny was one of the most personable people you could ever meet. He had a genuine love for others and showed that love through his warm and welcoming personality. To Nevatiny, family extended far beyond blood. He welcomed everyone with open arms and treated friends as family. With his big personality and friendly spirit, he could talk to anyone about anything and everything.

At heart, Nevatiny was still a kid. He loved watching cartoons and sitcoms such as Teen Titans, Black-ish, That '70s Show, The Big Bang Theory, and Young Sheldon. This playful spirit was just one of the many qualities that made him such a wonderful father. Above all else, Nevatiny loved his children and family fiercely. He encouraged them daily and showed them what it meant to be a caring, loyal, and loving person.

Nevatiny was an amazing, caring, loving, and handsome man who will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.

Nevatiny is reunited in heaven with his grandfather, Robert Berry; his grandmother, Nearline Norman; and his father Donald L. Green.

Left to cherish his memory are his children whom he adored, Navojanae Berry, Nasya Berry, Nevatiny Don Berry Jr.; his loving mother, Sharon Berry; his siblings, Avis Howard, Randal Royal, and Patrick Royal. Nevatiny also leaves a host of other relatives and friends whom he loved dearly.

We are blessed that God allowed us the time that we shared with him on earth.
