Tamekia Marja Moten

Tamekia Marja Moten, age 32, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023.

Tamekia loved life and lived it to the fullest. She always had a smile on her face. She was known by everyone as an amazing person who lit up the room when she walked in. Tamekia was a loving and kind person who was always willing to help others when they needed it. She was a huge Harry Potter and Supernatural fan. She also loved cooking, eating, and just having a good time and sharing her joy for life. Her children were her best friends.

Tamekia is preceded in death by her grandmothers Marilyn Suggs; great- grandmother Minnie Wheeler; grandfather, J.W. Barber, and Little Brother Micheal Reese.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Justin Saddler, Janelle Saddler, Ariyah Negrete, and Christian Moten; mother, Denise Reese; sisters, Kendra Moten, Rokeshia Jimon, Brittney Reese, and Chantel Moten; and her brothers, Bryce Hart, Joesp Hart, and Courtney Moten; and second mother, Vickie Pratt.

A viewing (10am-12pm) and a Celebration of Life service (12pm) will be held on Saturday, December, 9, 2023 at Mayberry Funeral Home Hope Chapel.
